High indoor humidity in Henderson and Oxford

High Humidity started in the basement and began to affect the first floor hardwood floors!

Due to the amount of rain we have been recieving the last few weeks, we at SERVPRO of FRANKLIN, VANCE and GRANVILLE have had increased mold related calls. Mold loves to grow in humidity above 60%, so please monitor your home and DO NOT turn off the heat or air conditioning! Some of the areas that you will typically find mold will be in your crawlspace or attic, in an unventilated bathroom, in cabinets near the floor or in a closet that doesn't get a lot of air movement.
