DAMAGED CRAWLSPACE IN LOUISBURG, NC

Standing water in a crawlspace that went undetected for approximately 3 weeks.

Sometimes a water damage is very difficult to discover, especially if it doesn't affect the interior of your home or business. We recently assisted a home owner with a water damage that only affected their crawlspace. This pipe leak apparently had been going on for approximately 3 weeks and was only discovered when someone came to mow the yard and noticed a large amount of water in the back yard coming from under the house. Once it was checked, we discovered over 5 inches of standing water in the crawlspace. We extracted the water and then began the drying process. This is a great example of why it would be a great idea to periodically check the areas that are usually never thought about unless something does happen.
